Stuffed Banana Peppers

Select medium size banana peppers
Cut top and tips off the ends
Remove seeds
Stuff Rosario's Italian Sausage into the pepper
Place in a baking pan lined with aluminum foil
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, turn peppers over, and bake for 40 more minutes
Serve plain or top with your favorite cheese and decorate with a drizzle of tomato sauce
Freeze any leftovers.

Stuffed Sweet Peppers

Cut tops off and remove seeds from selected bell peppers
Add cooked rice to Rosario's Italian Sausage
Fill peppers, place in baking dish lined with aluminum foil
Drizzle tomato sauce on top, if desired
Cover dish and bake for 90 minutes
Serve hot and enjoy!

Make your own pizza
Before baking sprinkle a tablespoon of Rosario's Sausage Mix (Hot, Med/Hot, Mild, Sweet) on the prepared pizza sauce
Generously add Rosario's Italian Sausage as your main topping

Gourmet Meat Balls
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Rosario's Italian Sausage (which you prepare with your sausage &
Rosario's Italian Sausage Mix
)
2 handfuls of bread crumbs
1 egg
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and form into balls.
Bake to brown (great for meatball sandwiches or as an appetizer) or
add directly to spaghetti sauce and cook.

Sausage Tatters

Shred raw potatoes (or frozen hash browns)
Add equal portions of Rosario's Italian Sausage (which you prepare with your sausage and Rosario's Italian Sausage Mix)
Form into firm patties.
Place patties in baking pan.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake at 350° degrees for 30 minutes on each side.

Rosario's Spaghetti Sauce

Sauté one chopped onion in small amount of olive oil
Add 2 cans of tomatoes (paste, sauce, crushed, puree), add water to reach desired thickness.
Use 1 Tablespoon of Rosario's Sausage Mix.
Adjust to your taste. Add more Mix if needed.

Sausage Pancakes

Crumble Rosario's Italian Sausage (which you prepare with your sausage & Rosario's Italian Sausage Mix)in skillet, add cold water and stir as it
cooks on medium heat. Drain into dish layered with paper towel to absorb all liquid.
Add Italian Sausage to your favorite pancake batter and you have an original Sausage Pancake. Pour on your favorite syrup, a pat of creamery butter and enjoy!

Rosario's Italian Sausage Chili

Sauté 1 large onion diced in small amount of olive oil. Add Rosario's Italian Sausage with ˝ cup of cold water to crumble the meat evenly, when water is reduced, add one can of tomato juice; one-teaspoon salt; one teaspoon of chili powder per pound of meat; l teaspoon of paprika (optional). Let simmer for l hour, add drained kidney beans amount to your liking. Heat thoroughly and serve. Add shredded cheese or hot peppers as garnish, if desired.

Rosario's Italian Sausage Lasagna

Spray Pam on baking pan, add thinned sauce to cover bottom of pan. Layer noodles, sauce, and cooked crumbled Rosario's Italian Sausage, ricotta cheese, grated mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with graded Romano cheese. Add more sauce and repeat to ˝ inch of the top of the pan. Add a layer of thinned sauce last. Now cover with aluminum foil, cut small slits for steam to escape. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 ˝ hours. Serve with extra sauce.

Rosario's Gourmet Italian Sausage Bread Crumbs
1 can tomato sauce1 cup rice (optional)
1 egg per pound of sausage
1 small onion diced
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Form into loaf. Place in covered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
