Mountain Lake Hydroponic Herbs We are a small family operated gourmet food and fresh herbs producer located near Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Our speciality is hydroponic, pesticide-free, all natural, mountain-grown basil. Gourmet chefs depend on the basil shipped fresh from our hydroponic herb greenhouse.
Mt. Lake Hydro started hydroponic research in the early 90's with the help of a friend that was living in Amsterdam. In Holland, they are very familar with hydroponics. With much trial and error (and with much help from the hydroponic specialist) over the years, we have perfected hydroponic farming. This method of growing has many benefits from nutrition to larger yields as well as a feasible means of cultivation for those without viable soils. Hydroponic farming will blossom in the next couple of years to become a blessing to those who farm and those who consume. Phone:

of Products: What is Hydroponics? Hydroponics is the science of growing of plants without soil. Hydroponics works by automatically getting the complete nutrient and water to the plants roots. It's history goes back farther than the pyramids. The hanging gardens of Babylon were grown using the hydroponic process using oxygen rich water and nutrients. Produce
grown hydroponically have a much longer shelf life and without the use of chemicals
and pesticides, they are more flavorful and safe.
