Diversified Nature Associates, Inc. was created by Harvey Christie in 1989 out of a love for herbs and cooking. He got started with just a small greenhouse and a few bottles of herbal vinegar. Over the past 10 years, the business has grown and has developed into more than just a small "hobby business". We now manufacture gourmet food products for several resorts and businesses throughout the country including: The Greenbrier in White Sulpher Springs, WV; The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida; The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake of the Ozarks, MO; The Red Fox in Snowshoe, WV; Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA; and numerous others. In addition to providing these resorts with gourmet foods, we also manufacture gourmet foods under our own distinctive labels. The D.N.A. product lines include Chef Harv's and Chef J. Warren's/D.N.A. Gourmet Classics.

As president/CEO of Gourmet Central (D.N.A), Harvey travels the United States promoting the company and marketing our numerous products. As part of this marketing effort, "Chef Harv" provides cooking demonstrations to explore new and spectacular ways of preparing gourmet meals that will please even the pickiest eaters. Chef Harv's demonstrations have been featured on television stations and in many cities including Tampa, FL, Minneapolis, MN, Blacksburg, VA, Hagerstown, MD, and Charleston, WV.

Gourmet Central also work diligently to promote and support the local community. This promotion of the local community is made possible by supporting many local organizations (such as the 4-H), by working with local growers to maximize their earning potentials, by actively pursuing workers with specials needs for employment by Gourmet Central, and by working each day to make the community a better place for today and the years to come.
